Getting a good result
Watch the level meter
The bar under the picture moves with your voice. It should reach the marked zone when you speak normally and never hit the end. If it barely moves, the wrong microphone is selected or it is too far away.
Mirrored while recording, correct in the file
You see yourself as in a mirror, because that is what feels natural. The saved video is not mirrored, so writing on your shirt or a whiteboard reads the right way round.

Is my recording uploaded?
The recording is made by your browser and exists only in this tab until you download it. Nothing is sent to us.
How long can I record?
Up to 15 minutes a take.
My camera does not show up. What do I check?
That no other app, such as a video call, is using it; that the browser has permission (the camera icon in the address bar); and that the right camera is chosen in the list.
Can I get MP4 from Firefox?
Firefox records WebM. After the take, the Convert to MP4 button sends it to our converter for takes up to 5 minutes.
