Getting a good result

Timing stays, words change

Only the text of each caption is translated. Start times, end times and the number of captions are identical to your file, and the tool refuses a result in which any caption went missing.

It is machine translation

The translation is written by an AI model. It handles everyday speech well and stumbles on names, wordplay, slang and technical terms. Have someone who speaks the language read it before it goes on a video that represents you.

Translated captions run longer

Many languages need more characters than English to say the same thing, so a caption that was comfortable to read can become too fast. The tool counts how many translated captions now exceed the reading limits and points you to the readability checker.
