Speeds that stay understandable
Most people follow speech comfortably at 1.25× to 1.5×. At 2× you catch the gist of a clear speaker. Slowing to 0.75× helps with transcribing by hand, learning a language or working out a piece of music.
Play audio faster or slower, from 0.5x to 3x, with the pitch kept natural.
Files up to 100 MB and 60 minutes long.
Your file is deleted from our server as soon as the result is made, and the result 15 minutes later.

Studio removes the long pauses instead, so the episode is tighter and still sounds natural.
The Studio free plan takes recordings up to 2 GB and edits the whole thing: retakes and pauses out, captions in.

Its length divided by the speed. A 30-minute lecture at 1.5× is 20 minutes.
