Getting a good result
Audio longer or shorter than the video
The video sets the length. Longer audio fades out over the last second. Shorter audio stops and leaves silence, unless you tick Repeat the audio.
The picture is not touched
For H.264 video in MP4, MOV, M4V or MKV, the picture is copied bit for bit and only the soundtrack is rebuilt, so there is no quality loss and a long video is ready in seconds.

Where can I find music I am allowed to use?
Use music you made, licensed or took from a library whose terms cover your use. A platform can mute or remove a video with music it recognizes, even a few seconds of it.
Can I start the music partway through the video?
Not in this tool. The audio starts with the video.
What quality is the sound in the result?
AAC at 192 kbps and 48 kHz.
Can I use the sound from another video?
