    Getting a good result

    Nothing is uploaded

    When your browser can play the video, which covers MP4, WebM and most MOV files, the frame is copied from the preview on your own device. The file never leaves it. Only formats the browser cannot play, such as AVI or WMV, are sent to our server for the frame and deleted straight after.

    Picking a frame worth using

    Video frames blur during movement. Step through a moment when the subject is still: the end of a gesture, a pause between sentences. Eyes open and mouth closed or mid-smile beats mid-word.

    What resolution is the saved image?

    The same as the video: a 1920 × 1080 video gives a 1920 × 1080 image.

    Why is my frame blurry?

    The camera's shutter blurred it while something moved. Step a few frames either way to find a sharper one.

    Can I save several frames at once?
